Researchers from London Imperial College visited CR2 Lab

Today, we are excited to meet our friends Prof.Etienne Burdet from London Imperial College, United Kingdom and his fellow students from National Technological University and National University of Singapore.

Imperial is consistently ranked among the top universities in the world, it was ranked 5th in the world (and 3rd in Europe) in the 2013 QS World University Rankings .

Dr.Yeong from CR2 team was one of the PhD graduate from  London Imperial College. His supervisor, Prof.Etienne; who is one of the well-known professors in human robotics. We are happy to meet them again here in Malaysia. They visited CR2 laboratory in Faculty of Biosciences and Medical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). They tested on three of our latest robot, which are CR2-Reaching, CR2-Haptic and CR2-Motion.

There are a lot more potential robot can be developed to help the stroke community. We also discussed on the robot improvement as well as the future potential collaboration in rehabilitation robot.
